Tupac Shakur’s family is contemplating a wrongful death lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs while investigating if the former Bad Boy executive placed a $1 million bounty on the legendary rapper.

“People from Diddy’s past are coming forward and providing info,” a source tells us Wednesday.

Representatives for Shakur's family and estate did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Previously, Page Six learned that the family had hired high-profile attorneys to look into the matter.

They have sought the expertise of lawyer Alex Spiro, who has an impressive roster of celebrity clients, including Elon Musk and Megan Thee Stallion.

Despite nearly 30 years having passed since Shakur was fatally shot in a drive-by in Las Vegas in 1996, new developments in the case of a man accused of his murder have reignited their interest.

Last week, Page Six reported that former gang leader Duane “Keefe D” Davis alleged in a 2009 interview with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police that Combs purportedly paid $1 million to have Shakur killed.

“[Davis] has asserted publicly that he only told on himself and wasn’t trying to provide evidence against anyone else in his conversations with police,” a July 18 filing from the Clark County District Attorney’s Office and obtained by Fox5 read.

“However, this statement belies this claim, as he suggested that Sean Combs paid [drug dealer] Eric Von Martin a million dollars for the killings as well as offered to set up a surreptitious phone call with Terrence Brown, the driver, who, at the time, was still alive.”

Combs' representatives and lawyers did not respond to Page Six’s multiple requests for comment regarding the allegations. However, one of his attorneys had previously addressed these claims when a similar accusation was made by someone else.
