In a stunning display at the Paris Olympics 2024, 51-year-old Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikec captured a silver medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event with minimal gear, sparking a meme fest on social media.

Dikec, competing in his fifth Olympic Games, partnered with Sevval Ilayda Tarhan to secure second place.

Despite only wearing regular prescription glasses and earplugs, Dikec's precision and skill shone through, earning him praise and viral fame online.

Social media users lauded his casual approach, with many highlighting how he competed against well-equipped opponents.

"This is what you call aura," one user tweeted, while others humorously compared him to a hitman.

The Turkish shooter, who first appeared in the Olympics in Beijing 2008, finally achieved his first Olympic medal in what has been a decorated career.

The final was a nail-biter, with Serbia's Zorana Arunovic and Damir Mikec making a comeback to win gold, leaving Dikec and Tarhan with silver.

India’s Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh took bronze.

Dikec's performance has not only inspired fans but also showcased the spirit of determination and excellence.
