DISCOs directed to extend bill payment date

Ten days extension would be given to the consumer for payment of their electricity bills

A major problem, which is not specific to the IPPs, is the amount of taxes and surcharges that consumers pay on electricity bills, which now constitute up to 33% of the bills. photo: file

ISLAMABAD:

Ten days extension would be given to the consumer for payment of their electricity bills for the month of July and August, said a statement issued by the Power Division.
