Pete Davidson, the comedian and actor known for his roles on “Saturday Night Live” and “King of Staten Island,” has recently checked himself into a wellness facility to address his mental health. This decision comes amid his ongoing commitment to prioritize his well-being, according to sources close to the star.

Davidson, 30, has reportedly entered the facility one month following his breakup with actress Madelyn Cline.

The two were first linked in September 2023, with their relationship making headlines when they were seen together at an “SNL” afterparty. The former couple's split was confirmed earlier this summer.

A source revealed that Davidson’s family and friends are supportive of his decision to seek help. “Pete has always made his mental health a priority,” the insider told People.

The news follows Davidson's recent comments about his struggles with substance use, including his admission at a show in Atlantic City that he still uses marijuana after giving up other substances like cocaine and ketamine.

Davidson had previously entered rehab to manage PTSD and borderline personality disorder. His latest stay at a wellness facility is part of a routine for him, as he regularly seeks “tune-ups” for his mental health, according to a source close to the actor. “Anyone who knows Pete knows that he will always step up and get help when he needs it,” the source added.

In addition to his personal challenges, Davidson has been open about his mental health struggles over the years. He has spoken candidly about having severe suicidal thoughts and the importance of finding the right treatments and support.

In a 2020 interview on “CBS Sunday Morning,” Davidson described his past mental health issues as “pretty dark and scary” until he found effective treatment.

Davidson’s decision to enter the wellness facility underscores his commitment to maintaining his mental health amidst personal and professional challenges. His openness about his struggles continues to resonate with many fans who appreciate his honesty and resilience.
