Vice President Kamala Harris’ niece, Meena Harris, is a Stanford and Harvard-educated lawyer, a children’s book author, and a media executive. She owns the feminist satire site Reductress and has a significant following on TikTok. Harris has consistently promoted her aunt, particularly during Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign.

Meena Harris is currently producing Dylan Mulvaney’s one-woman show “F-ghag,” premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the UK. The show explores themes of dating, identity, and self-discovery through storytelling, stand-up, and musical performances. Mulvaney, known for a controversial partnership with Bud Light, aims to bring trans stories and queer joy to mainstream media. “Dylan’s greatest hope is to bring trans stories and queer joy to mainstream media, and I’m honored to be a small part of that team,” Meena Harris posted on Instagram.

Meena also leads Phenomenal Media, producing liberal-minded films and plays. Her relationship with her aunt has drawn scrutiny, particularly after accusations of profiting off Kamala Harris’ likeness. Despite this, Meena continues to support her aunt and engage in liberal advocacy through her work. She has produced other shows about queer children and has been vocal about the lack of diverse characters in children’s literature.

The close bond between Meena and Kamala Harris remains strong. “I talk to her all the time. We’re super close. It’s a special relationship,” Meena told People in 2021. Raised by Kamala Harris and her sister Maya, Meena played significant roles in Kamala’s presidential and vice-presidential campaigns. Despite occasional differences in opinion, Meena emphasizes the importance of amplifying political issues and fostering communication.
