The former couple, who divorced in 2001, found themselves amidst a constellation of A-listers, including Ariana Grande, Spike Lee, and Nick Jonas, at the Games.

On July 28, Cruise was spotted watching Simone Biles during the women's artistic gymnastics qualification round. Two days later, Kidman, accompanied by her husband Keith Urban and their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith, witnessed the women's gymnastics team final where Biles led Team USA to gold.

Interestingly, Kidman shared the arena with tennis legend Serena Williams and actress Natalie Portman. This avoidance isn't unusual for the former couple, who often steer clear of the same events. A notable instance was Cruise reportedly skipping the 2023 Oscars to avoid Kidman.

In a recent interview, Kidman briefly touched upon her relationship with Cruise while discussing their 1999 film "Eyes Wide Shut." She revealed that director Stanley Kubrick delved into their marriage during filming, posing numerous questions. Kidman suggested that Kubrick's relationship with Cruise was notably different, with the two collaborating more closely on Cruise's character.
