Two men who went to a chop in the Saddar area under the pretense of buying cloth threw acid on the shopkeeper, causing burns.

A rescue team transferred the victim to a hospital after providing urgent medical aid. Police officers arrived at the spot and the CPO sought a detailed report about the incident from the Iqbal Town SP. He also ordered the immediate arrest of the attackers.

According to reports, two unknown individuals came to the shop in Tata Bazaar, ostensibly to buy cloth.

During the purchase, they took out a bottle and threw acid on the face of the shopkeeper, 35-year-old Nasir Javed, a resident of Shahbaz Town.

As a result, he suffered burns, while the attackers managed to escape on foot.

Upon receiving information about the acid attack on the shopkeeper, police officers arrived at the spot and started efforts to identify and trace the attackers with the help of CCTV footage.

Faisalabad CPO Kamran Adil ordered the forensic teams to gather evidence and investigate the incident from all angles for tracing and arresting the attackers.
