Charlie Cox has announced that he will be attending the D23: Ultimate Fan Event in Anaheim to promote the upcoming Disney+ series “Daredevil: Born Again.” This follows Marvel Studios’ major panel at San Diego Comic-Con, where they previewed upcoming movies such as “Fantastic Four: First Steps,” “Captain America: Brave New World,” and “Thunderbolts.” The Russo Brothers were also revealed to be directing the next two “Avengers” movies, “Doomsday” and “Secret Wars,” with Robert Downey Jr. returning to play Doctor Doom.

While the focus at SDCC was on movies, Marvel has saved some major reveals for D23. Disney will host a Studio Showcase at the Honda Center on August 9, 2024, featuring news from Disney’s various studios, including Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, Pixar, Disney, and Marvel. Additionally, a separate panel will highlight upcoming animated Marvel shows like “Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man” and “Eyes of Wakanda.”

Charlie Cox, along with Jon Bernthal and Deborah Ann Woll, attended GalaxyCon in Raleigh, North Carolina, where Cox confirmed to Cosmic Circus that he would be at D23 to promote “Daredevil: Born Again,” set for release on Disney+ in March 2025. He also mentioned the possibility of attending New York Comic-Con for further promotion.

Initially announced as an 18-episode series, “Daredevil: Born Again” will now have nine episodes in its first season due to Hollywood strikes and creative issues. Cox revealed that filming for the second season is expected to begin later this year. He had previously promoted the series at an Upfront event to advertisers.

Given the limited time at the D23 showcase and the need to share the stage with Pixar, Star Wars, and Disney announcements, it is anticipated that “Daredevil: Born Again” will be one of the few Marvel projects highlighted.
