This weekend, Taylor Swift's performance in Munich, Germany, turned into a phenomenal gathering, as fans not only filled the Olympic Stadium but also swarmed Olympic Hill to watch her for free.

Photos capturing the massive crowd on the hill, which is one of Munich’s highest points, circulated widely on social media.

According to local police estimates reported by the Associated Press, around 25,000 fans congregated on the hill on Saturday, with some estimates reaching as high as 40,000.

During her Sunday night performance, Swift acknowledged the enormous turnout, estimating the crowd outside at 50,000.

"We are lucky enough to get to play this show for 74,000 beautiful people in this stadium, and if the reports are correct, about 50,000 beautiful people outside the stadium,” Swift said, as captured in fan-shot videos.

Expressing her gratitude, Swift added, “Thank you for coming to the Eras Tour, whether you’re in the stadium or outside of the stadium. We are so lucky to be here with you. And this is actually a really special night, because this is our last show in Germany. I cannot express to you how wonderful the German crowds have been to us over the last few weeks. We are so sad to be leaving you but we will be back, we will be back to see you.”

As Swift continues her Eras Tour, her next stops include three shows in Warsaw, Poland, followed by a performance in Vienna, Austria.

The European leg of her tour will conclude with five shows in London, England, promising more spectacular nights for Swifties across the continent.
