Famed duo of hit drama series Tere Bin, Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali, recently brought a slice of their magic to their overseas fans. The beloved on-screen pair delighted in a friendly meet-and-greet in Dallas, engaging in lively banter and heartfelt exchanges. But it was Yumna’s candid revelation about her single status that truly stole the show.

In video clips making rounds on the internet, the Nayab actor can be seen answering a fan query about her love life or its lack thereof. Not one to shy away from the truth, Yumna confessed with a laugh, “I am a very difficult sort of person; that’s why I’m still single.”

“I don’t know why. Yes, it’s a weird reason, but I love being single.” The room erupted in laughter, appreciating her honesty and the relatable nature of her statement.

In an earlier chat with talk show host Vasay Chaudhry, Yumna candidly elaborated on her ideal partner. The Parizaad star laid out her list of must-haves: a good heart, a sharp mind, and intelligence. She emphasised that true companionship is a complex art, one that requires time and mutual understanding to truly grasp.

As for the looks department, Yumna had a refreshingly simple take. “He has to satisfy only me,” she said with a smile, adding, “I can only know when I see.” It’s clear that for Yumna, personality trumps all, and she’s in no rush to settle for anything less than what she truly wants.

While fans might be eager to see her find her perfect match, the Gentleman actor is content enjoying her journey, both on and off the screen. As she continues to charm audiences with her talent and authenticity, her admirers can only wait and see who might eventually capture the heart of this remarkable star.

Tere Bin, now returning for a second season, also transcended geographical borders and was deemed the most watched Pakistani drama in India as well. Its popularity stemmed from audiences left captivated by the story of Yumna’s character, Meerab, an ambitious woman, whose life is transformed after marrying the dominating Murtasim, played by Wahaj.

The onscreen chemistry between the two leads contributed immensely to the popularity of the drama. The love story, which often went viral, sometimes for the wrong reasons, was so well received that rumours began circulating an Indian remake was in the works.

Asad Qureshi and Abdullah Kadwani, the driving forces behind the hit, clarified through a shared statement, that no permission had been sought from the producers or the channel regarding a remake.
