‘Illegal’ weapons recovered from govt officials

Intelligence agencies raided the residences of licences clerk Rizwanullah and his son Naeemullah, an establishment clerk, and confiscated a huge sum of foreign and local currencies, as well as weapons, from their possession.

According to sources in the deputy commissioner's office, which shared information with The Express Tribune, the raid was conducted on information collected a day before. The intelligence agency recovered Rs7.5 million, 8,750 Saudi Riyals, four SMGs, three boxes of bullets, 14 magazines, three bulletproof jackets, and two hand grenades.
