Keanu Reeves touched the hearts of fans at San Diego Comic-Con with a heartwarming tribute to his mother, Patricia Taylor. While promoting his comic book series BRZRKR, which is being adapted into a Netflix anime series and feature film, Reeves paused to read a dedication to their mothers from the novel adaptation, "The Book of Elsewhere."

The tribute, written by Reeves and co-author China Miéville, states: "A dedication to our mothers: for life, for storytelling, for love." The packed audience responded with heartfelt "aws" and cheers.

Reeves, known for his close relationship with his mother, a costume designer, has often spoken about her influence on his life and career. This touching moment at Comic-Con further solidified his reputation as a devoted son.

In addition to the tribute, the panel revealed exciting updates on the BRZRKR projects, including screenwriter Mattson Tomlin's role as showrunner for the anime series and the recent completion of the film's latest draft. Reeves also received the SDCC Inkpot Award for his contributions to art and pop culture.

"The Book of Elsewhere," a 353-page novel co-authored with Miéville, delves into the origins of the immortal assassin B, a character created by Reeves. The novel, published by Boom! Studios, hit shelves on July 23rd.
