Stars gathered along the iconic Seine river in Paris for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics.

On July 26, the Summer Games began in spectacular style despite a downpour, with barges carrying each country's athletes floating down the Seine, accompanied by performances from artists such as Lady Gaga and Celine Dion.
