The "Make You Feel My Love" singer promptly said “Yes” and then FaceTimed her friends and family to share the joyful news.

Friends anticipate the couple will host an extravagant celebration towards the end of next year.

A source said last night, “Rich planned for the proposal to be in her hometown, and gave her an incredible four carat diamond ring."

Adele, 36, ignited speculation among fans by calling 42-year-old Rich her husband and referring to herself as his wife while on stage.

The source went on: “Adele thinks it’s hilarious that fans reckon they’re already married.

Adele was married to entrepreneur Simon Konecki from 2018 to 2021.

They share an 11-year-old son named Angelo.
