Rumours of a 13-year-old fan of Pakistani actor Kubra Khan gone missing took the internet by storm on Wednesday. Various Instagram pages buzzed with the tale of the young fan’s audacious journey who left her home to meet her idol. The starstruck girl, captivated by Kubra’s performances, reportedly set off for Karachi and sparked widespread concern.

The minor’s quest quickly caught the attention of the media and Kubra herself, who took to Instagram to address the situation. Reposting a news article that confirmed the girl’s safe return to her family, the Alif actor expressed her gratitude for the affection of her fans, while also voicing her concern for their safety.

“So I’m in London and this was just brought to my attention,” Kubra began in her IG Story. “I am at a loss for words. I love and appreciate all the love I receive from all my Kuberians. However, I need you guys to understand that your safety is the utmost important thing.”

The celebrity emphasised the gravity of the situation and insisted, “The world is scarier than it used to be and I would never ever want anyone to put themselves in a place of danger because of me. I pray and hope the little girl is safe and sound with her family.”

“PS. Once I’m back, I’m overdue for a meet and greet in Lahore. Till then… please stay safe,” Kubra capped the note affectionately. Earlier, the Jannat Se Aagay star grabbed headlines when she told Pakistani men to take a cue from Korean dramas and step up their game.

“These Korean drama guys,” Kubra mused, “They take something small and turn it into this big romantic gesture. This is what we want, why can’t we get it here?” She also revealed that the men in these dramas are the reason her expectations have become extremely high.
