The Punjab Arts Council (PAC) hosted an exhibition showcasing artwork created by female students.

“The Punjab Arts Council plays a crucial role in promoting art and culture in the Potohar region,” said the special guest at the exhibition was Punjab Assembly member, Shazia Rizwan.

“The promotion of regional culture ensures unity and solidarity. Art and culture are significant components of any country, contributing not only to its development and prosperity but also representing its valuable heritage. Culture is a distinctive aspect that differentiates one country from another,” she further added.

She noted that various activities are ongoing in Punjab province for the promotion of art and culture. “It is a fact that no nation can progress by neglecting its culture. In this regard, the government has established a beautiful tradition of revitalising the province’s culture,” she said.

She said Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has established a beautiful tradition of revitalizing the province’s culture and added that various activities were ongoing in Punjab province for the promotion of art and culture.

PAC Director, Sajjad Hussain, briefed the chief guest on the events taking place at the Arts Council while she was visiting. The exhibition is showcasing artworks created by female students, he said.
