Sabrina Carpenter's fans are voicing their frustration over the "insane" ticket prices for her upcoming Short N' Sweet UK tour. The singer recently announced the tour on Instagram, urging fans to pre-order her upcoming album for early access totickets.
However, when tickets went on sale in the UK, fans were shocked to discover that prices had skyrocketed to £250 for some seats, a tenfold increase compared to her previous tour. Many took to Twitter to express their outrage, with some questioning the justification for such a steep price hike for an artist with a relatively small number of hit singles.
One fan tweeted, "£240 to sit in the nosebleeds to see Sabrina Carpenter at the o2 - an artist with two hit singles and two other moderate hits. Absolutely APPALLING." Another fan defended the singer, pointing out that she has released five albums.
The Short N' Sweet tour is set to begin in Dublin, Ireland on March 3, 2024, followed by shows in Birmingham, London, and Manchester. Despite the backlash, it remains to be seen whether Carpenter or her team will address the fans' concerns and potentially adjust the ticket prices.
