The low-pressure area over the northern Arabian Sea has moved westward, leading to the resumption of sea breezes in Karachi after several days of stagnation.

The new wind system has caused a temperature drop of over three degrees Celsius.

On Tuesday, the city experienced a notable improvement in weather conditions compared to the past few days, as the active sea breeze alleviated the prolonged humidity. The sky varied from clear to partially cloudy, though the humidity remained high in the afternoon, leading to a perceptible heat.

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature dropped by 3.1 degrees from the previous day to 34.5 degrees Celsius, while the humidity level decreased by 9%, reaching 70%.

The Early Warning Centre of the Meteorological Department forecasts that the low-pressure area over southern Sindh and the adjacent northern Arabian Sea has moved from eastern Sindh towards the west.

The weather is expected to be hot and humid with partially cloudy skies tomorrow and on Thursday.

There is a likelihood of light rain or drizzle in the evening and night times.

During this period, the maximum temperature is expected to range between 33 to 35 degrees Celsius, with southwesterly to westerly winds anticipated to blow through the city.
