Ryan Reynolds shares name of fourth child with Blake Lively at ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ premiere
Ryan Reynolds recently shared the name of his and Blake Lively's fourth child: Olin.
The couple, who also have daughters James, Inez, and Betty, welcomed their new addition in February 2023.
At the NYC premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine on July 22, Reynolds, 47, made the announcement while on stage with his co-stars and director Shawn Levy.
During his speech at the David H. Koch Theater, Reynolds expressed gratitude to his wife and complimented her outfit for the evening. "Her outfit is amazing, spoiler alert," he quipped, drawing laughter from the audience.
Reynolds then acknowledged his children: daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and their newest member, Olin. "I love that my entire family is here," he said.
Blake Lively, 36, and Reynolds welcomed their fourth child on February 12, 2023. The couple has not disclosed the sex of their youngest child.
In May, Reynolds hinted at the toddler's name during an appearance on the Today show, where co-host Savannah Guthrie joked, "Taylor Swift keeps dropping it into lyrics!"
This likely referenced Swift's song "Betty" from her 2020 album Folklore, which mentions the names of their older three children.
When asked if Swift gives any hints of the baby's name on her latest album The Tortured Poets Department, Reynolds humorously replied, "We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child's name is, and I'll say this: We're still waiting."
Although Reynolds and Lively maintain privacy around some aspects of their family life, Reynolds noted on the Today show in 2022 that they did not know the sex of their baby until birth. Deadpool & Wolverine is set to release in theaters on July 25.
