An explosion at an illegal fireworks factory resulted in the death of the owner's son.

According to a Tandlianwala police official, Shahzad Toor, the factory located near Chak 409 was owned by Raz Wilayat and fireworks were illegally manufactured there.

The explosion occurred when a firework suddenly went off, injuring Hamza Raz, the son of the owner, who later succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.

The Tandlianwala Saddar police registered a case against the factory owner on the charge of murder and launched an investigation into the incident.

The police sealed the factory and launched a hunt for the owner who was reportedly on the run.

Meanwhile, a young man suffered severe burns after his clothes caught fire while lighting a cigarette. He was transferred to a hospital.

According to reports, 25-year-old Allah Bakhsh was sleeping in a shop near the Roshan Wala Bypass when petrol spilt over his clothes from a bottle.

After some time, he lit a cigarette, causing his clothes to catch fire.
