Anna Faris has stated her conditions for returning to the 'Scary Movie' franchise, following Paramount and Miramax's announcement of a new film.

Faris, known for her role as Cindy Campbell in the first four films from 2000 to 2006, mentioned in an interview with People magazine that she would consider returning if two criteria were met.

Firstly, Faris specified that financial compensation would be necessary. Additionally, she expressed a strong desire to work again with Regina Hall, who played Brenda, Cindy's best friend.

“I would love to work with Regina again. I just love her so much,” Faris stated. “We would make each other giggle all day long. Regina Hall would be my answer. And money. But mostly all Regina!”

Reflecting on her time with the franchise, Faris noted its significant impact on her career. She described the experience as a "bootcamp" that was crucial in her development as an actress.

"Those four movies played an important role in my life in terms of teaching me how to use props, teaching me how to fall, how to get hit in the head," Faris said.

The franchise, known for its parodies of horror films, saw Faris and Hall missing from the fifth installment, which featured Simon Rex and Ashley Tisdale.

The new film, following Malcom D. Lee's 2013 'Scary Movie 5,' aims to bring fresh material to the series.
