Jessie J has opened up about her recent diagnoses of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).

In a Saturday Instagram post, the singer, known for her hit "Price Tag," shared her journey with these conditions.

She revealed that she was diagnosed with ADHD and OCD around three months ago, noting that many people had already suspected her conditions. Jessie admitted that while she had an inkling of her disorders, becoming a mother in 2023 made their presence more evident and impactful.

The singer described the experience of understanding her conditions as both comforting and unsettling. She remarked that ADHD, with its broad spectrum, felt like a puzzle she was piecing together.

Despite the challenges, Jessie expressed that viewing her conditions through a positive lens made them feel like a "superpower," provided she has the right support system. She reflected on how these diagnoses have influenced her personal growth, relationships, and self-perception.

Jessie J also touched on the role of self-love and connecting with others who share similar experiences. She recalled her younger self and the coping mechanisms she used, such as making lists to manage stress. Jessie concluded her message with an affirmation of self-love and personal growth.

This revelation follows her previous health disclosures, including hospitalisation for Meniere’s disease and a stroke at 18. Jessie has previously discussed how these experiences have shaped her resilience and outlook on life.
