Pakistani Tekken star Arslan Ash has won the Tekken 8 EVO 2024 title for the fifth time, defeating compatriot Atif Butt in the grand finals in Las Vegas, USA. Arslan triumphed 3-1 in the winner’s final, after which Atif faced Japanese opponent Nobi in the loser’s final, defeating him 3-0 to reach the grand finals.

In a closely contested final, Atif won the first game, but Arslan tied the score. The match seemed to be leaning towards a reset when Atif switched to FENG and tied the score at 2-2. In the final round, just as it seemed Atif would win, Arslan landed a perfect hit, securing his fifth EVO Championship title. The EVO 2024 tournament saw about 5,000 participants, with a strong representation from Pakistan.
