Lindsay Hubbard, star of Summer House, recently revealed the sex of her baby in a touching video shared on Instagram.
The announcement came as a surprise orchestrated by her boyfriend during their European vacation. Hubbard, 37, detailed the special moment in a post dated July 20, 2024.
In the video, Hubbard explained that her boyfriend, whose identity remains undisclosed, planned the surprise meticulously. "This was truly the most special moment of my pregnancy!! 🥹," she stated.
The couple, who had travelled from Milan to Lake Maggiore, were greeted at their hotel by a room decorated with pink balloons and flowers.
Hubbard expressed her amazement in the video as she discovered the surprise, exclaiming, "Stop!" and "What? No! We're having a girl?" before covering her mouth in shock. The emotional reaction was captured as she dropped her belongings, overwhelmed by the news.
The reality TV star announced her pregnancy on July 4, 2024, and subsequently spoke with PEOPLE about her unexpected journey into motherhood.
"Obviously, it was a surprise and a shock at first because we were not trying or even planning," Hubbard said. She praised her boyfriend, a doctor in biotech investing, for their "very loving, caring and healthy relationship."
Hubbard also reflected on her past year, mentioning the end of her engagement to Carl Radke in August 2023. "To think where I was this time last year is insane to me," she said. "Looking back on it, it's just so clear to me that the universe had a plan."
