Karachi, caught in a tempestuous weather cycle, is bracing for another day with soaring temperatures a day after the port city enjoyed a short-lived rainfall.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), heat and humidity are likely to persist due to inactive sea breeze.

While there is a possibility of light rain in various parts of Karachi from this evening through tomorrow night, the cycle of extreme temperatures and stifling weather seems to be far from over, keeping residents on edge.
