Raid on Bahria Town office condemned

Real-estate tycoon Malik Riaz has condemned the raid on Bahria Town building, saying “such actions will prove to be lethal for the country’s economy”.

Malik Riaz posted the pictures of raid on his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle, tweeting, “I will not bow down to the oppressor. These are today’s scenes of security personnel barging into Bahria Town building without any legal justification.”

He asked if it reflects the government’s priority to demolish rather than encouraging investors. “Despite all this persecution, I stand by my position. I’ll not give in to these victimization and pressure tactics.”
