Alabama Barker confirms using weight-loss medication after denying plastic surgery allegations

Alabama Barker is the latest celebrity to use weight-loss medication.

The 18-year-old daughter of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler revealed this in a recent selfie video where she was seen applying makeup.

“I have, like, this thing where I photograph so ugly, and people are like, ‘Oh, my God — you’re so fat, and you’re so ugly,'” Alabama explained.

“And it’s, like, I see what you guys are seeing, but just, like, meet me in person. I feel like I don’t look like that.”

She added, “But I’m on weight-loss medication because I’m tired of being fat and photographing like a damn ogre.”

Alabama did not disclose the name of the medication she is using.

However, last month, her mother revealed she had taken Mounjaro after deciding to “eat the pain away” following the deaths of both her parents in 2023.

“I was in a very, very dark place. I stopped dieting. I stopped exercising. I just ate like s–t,” Moakler told People. “I was so devastated, and I missed my f–king mom and dad.”

The former model, 49, recounted that her eating habits worsened when paparazzi started questioning her about Barker's new wife, Kourtney Kardashian, being rushed to the hospital due to complications during her pregnancy with their son, Rocky.

“It was on another level, and I didn’t know how to deal [with it],” she shared. “I was sad. And I just missed my parents so much.”

Regarding Alabama, she recently responded to an Instagram user who accused her of having “plastic surgery on everything.”
