Love Island USA heart rate challenge sparks hope for Leah and Rob stans: will the pair recouple?

A new episode of Love Island USA Season 6 aired on Monday, July 15, 2024, featuring the contestants engaging in a provocative challenge. Dubbed the heart rate challenge, it required the islanders to don sultry outfits and try to elevate each other's heart rates.

Rob Rausch donned a cowboy costume and danced for the female islanders as part of the challenge. Later in the episode, when it was the women's turn, Leah Kateb dressed as a sexy nurse and attempted to raise the men's heart rates.

During her performance, she put a prop thermometer in Rob's mouth and teasingly said, "Looks like you've still got the hots for me."

Former Love Island host Maura Higgins filled in for Ariana Madix in the episode, announcing the results of the Heart Rate Challenge to the cast. She revealed that Leah was the one who elevated Rob's heartbeat the most.

This was especially surprising for fans when they discovered that Kordell had elevated Leah's heart rate the most, and new bombshell Kassie had caused Leah's partner, Miguel's, heart rate to rise the highest.

Unfortunately for Rob's partner, Daniella, she was unable to raise anyone's heart rate the most, likely compounding the hurt from her ongoing relationship issues with Rob, who had indicated earlier in the episode that he was no longer interested in her.

Fans of the show flocked to social media to react to the segment, expressing little surprise at the outcome. They took to X to assert that they had "called it," believing they knew Leah would raise Rob's heart rate.
