YouTuber Cody Ko has been accused of "hooking up" with fellow YouTuber Tana Mongeau when she was underage, with Mongeau claiming he was aware of her age.

The full allegation was detailed by Mongeau on her Cancelled podcast episode on June 22.

On the podcast, Mongeau stated that Gabbie Hanna had warned Cody about her being 17, but he still "hooked up" with her that night. Mongeau said, "I hooked up with Cody Ko when I was 17 and he was 25. Yeah, it happened." She later reflected, "And I understand where now as a grown adult, that you can say: 'You were taken advantage of.'"

Mongeau also mentioned that after she alluded to the situation on another occasion, Cody texted her asking, "are we good," to which she responded yes. The incident has sparked discussions among fans on Cody Ko’s subreddit and Instagram, with many urging him to respond.

YouTuber D'Angelo Wallace has reignited the allegations against Cody Ko with a new video. In the video titled "An Uncomfortable Conversation about Cody Ko," Wallace details the alleged incident involving Tana Mongeau, stating it has been "swept under the rug" and could be considered "statutory rape." Wallace criticizes both Cody and his fans who have been defending him online.

Cody Ko, now 33, would have been 25 years old when the alleged incident occurred in approximately 2016. Despite not posting on his main channel for almost a month, he continues to post regularly on his second channel.
