PESHAWAR:

Reacting on the federal government's decision to ban Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has termed the move as a ‘joke’.

The K-P chief minister said the incumbent federal government theft the mandate and came into power through rigging.

He chided if the fake government based on Form-47 can make a decision on banning the PTI.

Gandapur said the federal government's move to ban the most popular party is not more than a wishful thinking. "The mandate thief government cannot compete with Imran Khan and the PTI in the political arena; hence, it is expressing such whims, said the K-P chief minister.

He said the federal government is facing embarrassment at every front even after employing all regressive tactics and fascism. "This country belongs to 250 million people and none can take decision at their whims," said K-P Chief Minister Gandapur.

The K-P CM said the Supreme Court made a decision on the reserved seats as per the Constitution, which is irking the government as they never accepted the court's decisions. They also have a history of attacking the Supreme Court in the past, he added.

Ali Amin Gandapur said the upcoming decisions, including the election tribunal rulings, will prove to be the last nail in their coffin. Since they have seen their defeat written on the wall, they are making such absurd statements.

He expressed the resolve to brace the government's highhandedness like the past.

‘London plan has failed’

Meanwhile, Information and Public Relations Advisor Barrister Saif said the London plan has failed, adding people should keep their eyes on those who will attempt to escape. Making an obvious reference to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz supremo Nawaz Sharif, he said none could leave the country in the pretext of poor health condition such as low platelets. He said the Supreme Court's verdict on reserved seats has shaken the foundations of the fake empire. Barrister Saif said the ruling of election tribunal has yet to come, adding the justice-based verdict of the tribunal will expose the Form-47 rigging. He said the foundations of the government based on Form 47 are so weak that they could not provide it the few months support.
