Kanye West has re-emerged in the music scene with a new track alongside frequent collaborator Consequence titled "No Apologies." Released on Friday (July 12), the song marks West's latest appearance, though he doesn't rap but instead speaks on the intro and harmonizes with Consequence on the chorus. Consequence takes the lead with two verses.

The song includes lines like, "I go Rich Paul in the room with Adele/ And this bitch call him in the pool with Michelle/ And her top’s off like she cool with Janelle/ And if it pop off, I’m kicked out the hotel," showcasing Consequence's signature style.

"No Apologies" is set to be part of Consequence's upcoming album, Nice Doing Business With You. This album will also feature the Ye-produced track "Blood Stain," which fans first heard in 2022.

Earlier this week, Rich The Kid shared a text from Kanye West suggesting that West was "retiring from professional music" and uncertain of his next steps. However, it appears this was a promotional tactic for Rich The Kid's new album Life’s a Gamble, which now has a revised release date of July 19. The album features Kanye on two tracks: "Gimme a Second 2" with Ty Dolla $ign and Peso Pluma, and "Carnival" from his and Ty's Vultures 1 LP. Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign are also executive producing the project.

Adding to the buzz, Kanye's Vultures 1 mysteriously disappeared from Spotify earlier this week. Despite this, Kanye's new album Vultures 2, the second of his three planned collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign, is still anticipated despite several delays. Ty Dolla $ign assured fans in a recent Billboard interview that the album is forthcoming.

Kanye West's involvement in "No Apologies" and other recent projects suggests he isn't stepping away from music just yet, maintaining his influence and presence in the industry.
