Former first daughter Ivanka Trump posted a heartfelt message on Instagram Saturday following an incident where her father, Donald Trump, narrowly escaped an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“Thank you for your love and prayers for my father and for the other victims of today’s senseless violence in Butler, Pennsylvania,” the former White House top adviser wrote.

“I am grateful to the Secret Service and all the other law enforcement officers for their quick and decisive actions today. I continue to pray for our country.”

“I love you Dad, today and always,” the 42-year-old wrote.

Ivanka's emotional message followed a statement exclusively given to Page Six by her brother Eric.

“Toughest man I have ever met,” Eric said of his father, 78.

Shots were fired while Donald Trump was addressing his rally on Saturday. Video footage shows the former president taking cover after being struck in the ear by a bullet.

Secret service agents quickly surrounded Donald as he fell to the ground. He was observed with blood on the side of his face as he stood up and was escorted away.

Attendees at the rally were eventually evacuated as the area was declared an active crime scene.

Later, Donald Trump addressed the assassination attempt in a statement posted on his Truth Social page.

“I want to thank the United States Secret Service, and all of law enforcement for their rapid response to the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania. Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the rally who was killed and also the family of another person that was badly injured,” he wrote.
