Kensington Palace has confirmed that Princess Kate, 42, will make a special appearance at the Wimbledon men's singles final on July 14th. However, due to her ongoing cancer treatment, she won't be attending the women's final the day before.

The Princess of Wales, known for her love of tennis and role as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, has been a regular at Wimbledon since marrying Prince William. She traditionally presents the trophies to the winners.

This year's appearance will be a rare public outing for Princess Kate, who has stepped back from royal duties while undergoing treatment for cancer discovered earlier this year. The All England Club has expressed their support and flexibility, prioritizing her health and recovery.

Queen Elizabeth passed the patronage of the club to Princess Kate in 2016, and she last presented trophies at the 2023 final alongside Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

While this appearance does not signify a full return to royal duties, it highlights Princess Kate's dedication to her role and passion for tennis.
