The Sindh High Court (SHC) has granted bail to Tahir Abbas, who faces charges making obscene videos of torturing his own wife.

The complainant’s counsel submitted a no-objection certificate on behalf of the victim, stating that she has no objection if bail was granted to the accused.

Defence Lawyer Liaquat Gabol Advocate argued that there allegations only, no concrete evidence against the accused. Despite the accusations of making indecent videos, not a single video has been produced as evidence.

The court accepted the arguments and approved the bail of Tahir Abbas, ordering him to submit a surety bond of Rs50,000.

According to the police, the wife of the accused had filed a case against him at the Women Police Station Central. In addition to the bail hearing, the High Court also addressed a petition related to the investigation of sexual assault cases.
