Ye, aka Kanye West, and Ty Dolla $ign's debut album, "Vultures 1," briefly disappeared from Spotify on July 11, leaving fans and industry insiders baffled. 

The album was reinstated several hours later, suggesting a possible glitch as the cause of the removal.

This incident comes amid speculation about West's career. Earlier this week, rapper Rich The Kid shared an alleged text from West claiming he was "retiring from professional music." 

However, Rich The Kid later deleted the message and announced that West would feature on his upcoming album, "Life's a Gamble."

"Vultures 1" has faced several setbacks since its release. It was initially removed from Apple Music and iTunes shortly after its February 10 release due to a dispute with its distributor, FUGA. 

Additionally, the track "Good (Don't Die)" was removed from Spotify and Amazon Music due to a copyright claim by Donna Summer's estate.

Despite these challenges, "Vultures 1" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking West's 11th career No. 1 album and Ty Dolla $ign's first. The album accumulated 148,000 equivalent album units in its first week in the U.S., according to Luminate data.

Fans and critics remain confused over the album's availability. Some speculate that West may remove his entire discography from streaming platforms, while others view the recent events as publicity stunts.

As of now, "Vultures 1" remains available on Apple Music, but its presence on Spotify is uncertain. The future of the album and its relation to West's retirement announcement remain unanswered.
