Kathryn Hahn recaps the Marvel Cinematic Universe in song on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Kathryn Hahn recently performed a musical recap of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote the upcoming Disney+ series "Agatha All Along." The show, a spinoff of "WandaVision," stars Hahn as the evil witch Agatha Harkness and is set to premiere on September 18 with a two-episode debut.

During her guest-hosting stint on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Hahn addressed the frequent question of whether viewers need to watch every Marvel movie and TV show to understand "Agatha All Along." To ease any concerns, she sang a song summarizing key events from the MCU. The song opens with a verse on Iron Man and the Avengers, highlighting the popularity of characters like Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and Hulk. "A cinematic team of heroes spread across the galaxy. Vin Diesel got paid millions just to voice a frig-gin talking tree," she sang. Referring to the villain Thanos, she added, "One was colored purple with a chin that looked like testicles."

Hahn was joined by a group of singers dressed as Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Captain America, and Scarlet Witch. The performance ended with a plug for "Agatha All Along" and a nod to the Disney corporate synergy, as ABC, Marvel, and Disney+ are all under the Disney umbrella.

"Agatha All Along" follows Agatha Harkness, who, after being trapped in Westview by Scarlet Witch’s spell, embarks on a new journey. The plot revolves around a mysterious goth teen who helps Agatha break free from the spell and requests her guidance on the legendary Witches' Road, a series of trials promising great rewards. Together, they form a coven and set off on their quest.

The show will be the first Marvel series to stream on Disney+ in 2024 and features Hahn alongside co-star Joe Locke. The series will delve deeper into the character of Agatha Harkness and her magical exploits.
