The software engineer who stabbed his employer to death confessed before a magistrate that he committed the murder in a fit of rage.
"The software house CEO Naveed Khan had not paid us salaries for the last three months and when we would demand payment he would mock us with sarcastic remarks," said Shoaib.
Tipu Sultan police station investigation officer presented Shoaib Khan before the East district Judicial Magistrate to request for a five-day physical remand. The magistrate approved the request.
In his statement in the court Shoaib stated that he worked as a software engineer at the company and hadn't received his salary for three months. He claimed that during a conversation with Naveed, the CEO, he felt mocked and humiliated. In a fit of anger, he grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed Naveed when the CEO responded sarcastically.
The Investigating Officer (IO) requested the court to grant physical remand to conduct formalities of criminal record office (CRO).
