Abdul Basit on Wednesday said the Indian army chief's statement on terror camps in AJK as baseless and self-ser­ving.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Abdul Basit on Wednesday said the Indian army chief's statement on the presence of terror camps in Azad Jammu and Kashmir are baseless and self-serving.

He said terrorism is a global as well as a regional issue and Pakistan's own concerns vis-a-vis India have been conveyed.

He said India and Pakistan have agreed to discuss issues relating to terrorism through cooperation.

The Foreign Office Spokesperson further said the SAARC Interior Ministers Conference adopted an important statement on the fight against terrorism in the region.

Ali | 14 years ago | Reply This is not good... i think that now India is trying to get in Pakistan in a legal way on behalf of fight against terrorism which is not a good sign for Pakistan we already have American army within our territory
