During a live interview on "Today," Scarlett Johansson received a delightful surprise from Jeff Goldblum, who welcomed her into the "Jurassic" family with a video message.

Johansson, known for her upcoming role in "Jurassic World," was originally on the NBC morning show to discuss her rom-com "Fly Me to the Moon" when the unexpected message played.

Goldblum, famous for his portrayal of Dr. Ian Malcolm in the original "Jurassic Park" and subsequent sequels, including "Jurassic World Dominion," expressed his warm wishes to Johansson.

"Dr. Johansson, this is Jeff Goldblum. Here’s what I want to say to you. This I know: Scarlett will find a way," he remarked, referencing the franchise's iconic line.

"Don’t get eaten, unless you want to. I love you," he added affectionately, concluding with a blown kiss.

Johansson, visibly moved by the gesture, exclaimed, "Oh my god, I can’t believe Jeff said that to me. I think my life is complete now. I can retire."

The new "Jurassic World" installment, featuring Johansson in a leading role alongside a stellar cast, including Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey, is currently filming in Thailand.

Johansson, a self-professed fan of the franchise, expressed her excitement about the film and praised the script penned by David Koepp, who returns to the series after three decades.

Scheduled for release on July 2, 2025, by Universal Pictures, the upcoming "Jurassic World" promises to be an exciting addition to the beloved dinosaur franchise.
