Teasing the release of the new video, Katy captioned her Instagram post: "WOMAN’S WORLD VIDEO. JULY 11TH. 4PM PT"

The upcoming track marks Katy Perry's debut single from her yet-to-be-announced sixth studio album. "Woman’s World" also represents Perry's return to music since releasing her fifth studio album Smile in 2020.

Fans were treated to a preview of the song on Katy's TikTok, where she lip-synced to its infectious lyrics: "Sexy, confident / So intelligent / She is heaven-sent / So soft, so strong."

In the Instagram clip Katy posted yesterday, the mother-of-one playfully inflated her balloon-like body by blowing into her thumb, revealing her toned abs and long legs. She completed the sultry look with a bold gold choker around her neck.

In a little more than six hours, the post received more than 340,000 likes and over 7,200 comments.

This isn't the initial tease of her new single by Katy. On July 5, she posted a reel on Instagram featuring American YouTuber, singer, and media personality Trisha Paytas praising “Woman's World” as "so good".

Katy garnered attention recently for her daring stage attire at a Dolce and Gabbana event in Italy, where she wore a silver corset, short shorts, thigh-high boots, and a collar reminiscent of a dog's.

Katy Perry announced her new single shortly after her final appearance on American Idol on May 19. The "Teenage Dream" singer was moved during the season finale, sharing emotional moments with fellow judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie as season 22 winner Abi Carter performed.

In February, Katy Perry confirmed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that season 22 would be her final season as a judge on the American talent show, ending her six-year tenure on the judging panel.

Earlier this year, before revealing her new music plans, Katy hinted to fans: “I have some things planned for this year. So it’s going to be a very, very exciting year… for all popstar girlies!… I’ve been in the studio for a while”
