Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) announced on Monday that it had revitalised the Kunnar-11 well, located in Hyderabad, Sindh.
“Utilising advanced production optimisation techniques, the well is now producing 960 barrels of oil per day,” OGDCL, a state-owned hydrocarbon exploration company, said in a statement.
Kunnar-11 well, part of OGDCL’s Kunnar oilfield, is situated within the Kunnar mining lease area, where the company holds 100% working interest.
Production optimisation at Kunnar-11 well is projected to result in annual forex savings of approximately $30.19 million (Rs8.45 billion) in import substitution for the country.
