Wells Adams marks 5-year engagement anniversary with Sarah Hyland in heartfelt tribute

Wells Adams celebrated his engagement anniversary with a tribute to his wife.

On Sunday, July 7, the 40-year-old host of Best in Dough posted a tribute to Sarah Hyland, 33, commemorating the five-year milestone since they got engaged.

"It’s been 5 years since I conned this woman to spend the rest of her life with me," he wrote in the caption. "Best decision I’ve ever made. I love you so much @sarahhyland 🥹😘 Happy engagement anniversary, darlin."

The post featured a picture of the couple enjoying a beachside moment in Fiji, showcasing the diamond engagement ring of the Modern Family actress.

They became engaged in 2019 and subsequently married in August 2022 in an outdoor ceremony near Santa Barbara, California.

Their relationship became public on Instagram in 2017, with Adams confirming later that they had initially connected through social media.

In May, the actress, currently starring in the off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors as Audrey, a character originally played by Ellen Greene, shared how her husband unexpectedly reacted to her new role during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark.

"I don't do the Ellen Greene accent," said Hyland. "But my husband was asking me on the phone, 'Hey, how do you do it? Do it for me!' So I gave him a little preview over the phone of the accent."

What Hyland got in return was what she called "the wildest reaction I could have imagined."
