MQM-P launches complaint centre

KARACHI:

The lack of an effective platform for addressing complaints and issues is a major problem for the 250 million people in Pakistanm, said Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) senior leader MNA Syed Mustafa Kamal.

MQM-P has made a significant move by establishing a complaint centre, Kamal said terming it, "the first of its kind in the country's 75-year history."

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the MQM Complaint Center at Pakistan House, Kamal highlighted that MQM has provided a unique and effective voice for the entire nation, especially urban Sindh.

The complaint center allows citizens from any region to contact MQM-P public representatives 24/7 for problem resolution and grievance redressal, without discrimination. The center can be reached at toll-free number 021111786021, where citizens can file complaints by providing their National Identity Card number. The issue will be immediately addressed by MNAs, MPAs, and the Central Committee of MQM-Pakistan. A tracking number will be issued to monitor the complaint's progress, and the quality control department will ensure follow-up.

This initiative, according to Kamal, is a step towards fulfilling MQM-Pakistan's promise of bringing solutions to the people's doorsteps using innovative methods. It also aims to hold MQM officials accountable, ensuring efficient problem-solving. Kamal emphasized that the purpose of this centre is not political gain but to fight for the legitimate rights and welfare of the people, implementing the spirit of public service.

The inauguration was attended by senior leaders Dr. Farooq Sattar, Anees Qaimkhani, Syed Aminul Haq, Central Committee members, and a large number of MQM members, including national and provincial assembly members and workers.
