Mike Heslin, recognized for his roles in Lioness and The Holiday Proposal Plan, has passed away at the age of 30.

Heslin's spouse, Scotty Dynamo (formerly known as Nicolas James Wilson), announced on social media on Friday, July 5, that the actor passed away on Tuesday, July 2, due to an unforeseen cardiac incident following a week-long hospitalization battle.

“Michael was young, in perfect health, and the doctors have no explanation for what happened,” Dynamo shared.

He posted an Instagram carousel featuring photos of Heslin at various stages of his life, starting with a recent solo portrait. The carousel also included wedding pictures of the couple and childhood photos of Heslin.

Dynamo fondly recalled Heslin as “brilliant, selfless, talented, and a real-life guardian angel.”

The mourning partner reminisced about how Heslin supported him “through multiple rounds of cancer.”

“He was the first person everyone would call to share good news with, and he was the perfect person to call if they needed a shoulder to lean on or the best advice,” Dynamo expressed in his heartfelt tribute, describing Heslin as “the sweetest, most caring, and loving man on earth.”

“Michael, meeting you was the best thing to ever happen to me. You are my world. You are everything to me. When I felt you take your last breath, my heart shattered into a million pieces. If I had the power to trade places with you, I would do it in an instant,” he wrote.

Dynamo mentioned that they were “in the early stages of starting a family,” and had recently begun discussing their “favorite baby names for our future kids.”

His partner also mentioned that it had been Heslin's wish to be a donor, and in passing, he would provide “the gift of life to four different families.”

Before concluding, Dynamo mentioned that they were “3 weeks away from your birthday and 4 months shy of our 1 year wedding anniversary.”  He ended his poignant post with a quote from Shania Twain: “‘I’ll love you ‘forever and for always.’ ”

Following his passing, a GoFundMe page was launched to assist with funeral and medical expenses, as well as to support Heslin's family and friends.
