Bohra community will hold Ashura gatherings at Tahiri Masjid, Saddar, from July 7 to 16, prompting a comprehensive traffic plan by the police.
Dr. Syedna Muhammad Burhanuddin Road and Mir Karam Ali Talpur Road will be closed during assemblies. Traffic from Hassan Square to Saddar Dawakhana via PP Chowrangi will divert to MA Jinnah Road. MA Jinnah Road, Numaish, and Tibbet Centre traffic towards Saddar Dawakhana from Capri Cinema will be restricted.
Regal Chowk traffic will turn left onto MA Jinnah Road at Preedy Chowk to bypass Saddar Dawakhana. Traffic from Sarwar Shaheed Chowk and Atrium Mall to Tahiri Masjid Saddar Dawakhana will divert to Regent Plaza Sharae Faisal. Shahrah-e-Iraq Paradise signal traffic will redirect to MA Jinnah Road at Dawoodpota signal, Murshid Bazar.
Corridor three, Capri Signal, Cantonment Chowk, and Saddar Dawakhana will prohibit heavy traffic.
