Sindh to roll out Pakistan’s first pink EV taxis

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has announced the launch of Electric Vehicle (EV) taxis and Pink EV taxis, marking the first time these services will be introduced in Pakistan.

Earlier in May, Memon revealed the plan to operate 200 electric taxis in Karachi, including 50 pink taxis specifically reserved for women passengers.

Addressing the event, he said that such initiatives aim to improve public transportation.
