KARACHI:

Notorious bandit Imdad Bhayo and his brother were killed in a joint operation by Rangers and police in the Kacha area, with five of their accomplices captured and three Hindu traders safely rescued.

According to a press release from security agencies, the operation against criminal elements in the Kacha area is ongoing. On Saturday, intelligence indicated that Imdad Bhayo and his associates were present in the region.

Rangers and police surrounded the area, prompting the bandits to open fire. In the ensuing exchange, Imdad Bhayo and his brother Nazir were killed.

Rangers apprehended five wounded criminals, seizing weapons from them and safely rescuing three Hindu traders.

The Sindh government had placed a bounty of Rs3 million on Imdad Bhayo’s head. Bhayo was notorious for kidnapping three Hindu traders and five bank employees for ransom. He was involved in multiple cases of murder, attempted murder, kidnapping for ransom, and armed robbery.
