Karachi residents get relief as K-Electric reduces electricity rate

Rs1.67 per unit to be adjusted in July's bill

In a welcome development for the residents of Karachi, K-Electric has announced a reduction in electricity rates by Rs1.67 per unit.

According to Express News, the decreased rate is part of the monthly fuel adjustment and will be reflected in July's bill.

NEPRA has issued a notification confirming the reduction in K-Electric's tariff.

mohammad | 3 months ago | Reply what these small decreases will do to the citizens of karachi..the increases previously and new fixed taxes have made these bills unpayable..ke should leave now and citizens demand either 50 deduction or give it to China or other private group
