Christian McCaffrey defended his wife, Olivia Culpo, after a fashion influencer posted a lengthy critique of her Dolce & Gabbana wedding dress on social media.

Stylist Kennedy Bingham had discussed the long-sleeve ball gown that Culpo, 32, wore for her June 29 wedding to the 49ers running back in Rhode Island, stating, “There is no personality in this dress.”

“Usually, wedding dresses will have something of the bride injected into it, whether it’s a little bit of beading, some jewelry, detailing, something. This is just nothing; it’s the absence of personality,” Bingham said in a nearly six-minute TikTok video, which had garnered two million views as of Thursday.

CMC, 28, fired back at Bingham on Instagram, commenting: “What an evil thing to post online. I hope you can find joy and peace in the world, the way my beautiful wife does.”

Olivia Culpo also responded to the critique, as documented in a screenshot captured by Bingham, saying: “Wow, what an absolutely evil person you are. I hope no one ever tears you apart in this way because it’s extremely hurtful. I love this dress, and it was everything I wanted and more.”

McCaffrey, typically mild-mannered, is the reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year and EA Madden 25 cover athlete.
