Mohsin Naqvi hints at overhaul of PCB selection committee

PCB chief says everyone will soon find out who will remain in the selection committee and who will not.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has indicated significant changes in the selection committee, following the national team's poor performance in the recently concluded T20 World Cup.

Naqvi stated that everyone will soon find out who will remain in the selection committee and who will not.

Addressing the committee's mistakes, Naqvi mentioned that four different committees are currently evaluating various aspects of the team, including player adherence to instructions during the World Cup.

He assured that the findings would soon be made public.

Naqvi also mentioned that the interior ministry is not satisfied with the amount of time he dedicates to the PCB.

Despite this, he expressed confidence that the Pakistan Cricket Board would be back on track within three to four months.

Nor talked about Abrar Ahmad being benched for two months . Also Azhar Mahmood still defend the final XI selection and says that Shadab inclusion was due for strengthening batting order which shows that all the team management including Skipper is trying to hide the bad performers with rifts in team. No one asked him why middle order batter Ifthikar was wasted and sent after Imad and Shadab Haris performance at initial and death overs costs pak but all still silent to save him . Pak is only team in world who basic strategy is to retain big names in team without any much winning performance. On the other hand the team which only perform against minows and useless matches and want to Regaining the form of their players only . So it s time to send back Shadab Haris Rauf Azam khan Abbas afridi and Shaheen Afridi for domestic only . And their inclusion should be linked with continuous domestic performance. And new and energetic domestic performers should be given same nos of chances . SA dropped Shamsi being expensive one match but we Continously depending on such kinds of players . Now it s time for PCB to see the matches record in details and find out who is responsible for such kind of defeats . Everyone have small knowledge of cricket can easily finds it . No need for any kind of report from any side . First Major surgery should take place . Further surprise will be retaining current members in Selection Committee as all of these are responsible for such kind of performance by ignoring Talent and domestic performers.
